We hope this site will be both useful and informative . The aim of this site is to raise awareness of Child Protection issues both within NHSGGC and the wider community

The Child Protection Unit was established in June 2005 with a dedicated staff to improve access to advice and support for all the staff who work within our health board, and to raise the profile of Child Protection more generally within the wider community.

Within our unit there is a dedicated team of specialised staff with knowledge and expertise in the field of Child Protection including Consultant Paediatricians, Head of Child Protection Development, Child Protection Advisors and Trainers . See Links for further details
